Innovative product design involves a meeting of the minds – forward-thinking engineers, inspired designers, and, in this case, their most ardent fans. We partnered with the innovation lab at a Fortune 100 company to revamp a five-year-old device design, bringing together product design teams with their users to imagine and create the ideal experience.
During in-person workshops, we had fans describe the ups and downs of their relationships with their trusted e-products, then brought in the engineers to co-create with them on a device to enable the ultimate experience. Together, they constructed and deconstructed devices, reacted to prototypes, and pitched ideas for the next device to hit the market. Engineers, designers, business planners, and marketers left inspired and armed with ideas to incorporate into their product roadmap.
